It began to grow in the 1800s, and it went through what was called a golden era where incredible numbers of people started to flood into the region. It was not until modern times where the amusement parks began to be built. Today, it is a mecca for people that love going to Disney World and other locations.

There are also water parks, and also an assortment of restaurants, nightclubs, and everything else that both adults and children will love.

    You should go there during the spring, or at the beginning of autumn. If you travel during the summer, that’s when it tends to be the busiest. In addition to this, because of its proximity in between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, rainstorms can come in at any time. If you travel in late fall, there is the probability that you may run into hurricanes, which is why many people tend not to go there on vacation after October. However, if you get to go there before then, definitely plan to stay at one of the theme parks at one of their hotels. Otherwise, you will find great deals on other places that you can visit by yourself or with your family.

    Although the modern version of Orlando began in 1965, right after Walt Disney decided to expand his Disneyland-based theme park into this area of Florida, there is so much more to this beautiful location which has attracted millions of people over the years. There are impressive skyscrapers that you can see, and you can’t miss The Waverly on Lake Eola. The beautiful skyline of Orlando is something to behold, best viewed at night. If you do get a chance to go there, you should stay for at least a week so you can do a few things while you are there. Whether you decide just to do amusement parks, or spend more time to experience everything, you will love the city of Orlando.
